The 3 P’s of Entrepreneurship

4853

Entrepreneurship as a profession teaches you a lot in general . It can be a very fruitful and an immensely satisfying journey but full of a lot of struggle. Here are the 3 P’s you need to find within yourself to make this journey easier and more rewarding:

1)Patience:
Good things in life take time, don’t let everyone else’s success stories deceive you into believing that you are going to get where you want to be overnight. You need to learn to be patient enough to let things get there on their own pace and not get de-motivated or lose your cool. Concentrate on building a strong foundation.

2)Passion:

Your job shouldn’t be just a way for you to earn a living. It should be your passion and should drive you to complete your goals. If you think of your work as a compulsion you will never be able to achieve the level of enthusiasm you need to get where you want to be. The only way you can accomplish all your goals is by choosing a line of work you are actually passionate about.

3)Perseverance:

Your story as an entrepreneur is going to be full of ups and downs, despite all of that you should never lose sight of why you started off in the first place. People often give up and move on from the ventures they started because they didn’t get much traction or response from their target market.
Assess and review your progress continuously, learn from your mistakes and use them as stepping stones. The business that succeed belong to the entrepreneurs who had the passion, determination, patience and perseverance that helped them cross the finish line.

You need to know the line of work that you are getting into and what qualities and sacrifices it requires from you. Remember, even Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Great piece. I especially appreciate the point about patience. I’ve seen the dramatic effects of a lack of patience in my own business and in others. The journey does indeed take time but it’s worth it!
