5 Excuses that Shouldn’t Stop You from Succeeding

Excuses are success’s worst enemy. Most of us tend to focus on things that we think we can’t do, rather things we know we can do .As a result we never even get started. Are your excuses greater than your dreams? Since we were kids, we have heard that excuses are for losers, yet we are always convincing ourselves that we can’t go ahead with that brilliant idea because it’s not the right time or because you don’t have enough experience. Here are 5 excuses that should never be allowed to stop you from succeeding:

1) I don’t have the time:

We know starting your own company or starting a new project is very time consuming. You don’t HAVE to quit your day job if you want to chase your dreams. All you have to do is take out some time out of your busy schedule to make things happen for you. Dedicate those lunch breaks and coffees toward breathing life into your dreams.

2) I don’t have enough money:

Today there are many ways of getting funding for your business if you can’t invest in your own idea. If you work smart, there is always a way to make your day to day activities cheaper and save your funds and channel them towards developing your idea. There are a lot of affordable softwares in the market that are really good.

3) I don’t have enough experience:

Not everything needs enough experience as you think it does. Legends like Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg never had any experience before the y started off. They just believed in their talent, were passionate about what they wanted to do and gave it their all. You can always learn on the job, learn from your mistakes and gain experience as you move along.

4) I failed once I can’t face more failures:

Failures are what lead to success. It is one of the most important parts of the process. It took Edison almost 1000 unsuccessful to finally come up with the light bulb that changed all of our lives. Never let failure bring you down. Get up, dust yourself off and get back to chasing your dreams but always learn from your failures.

5) It’s not the right time:

There is never a “right time” for anything. There is always right now. It is up to you if you want to take the leap right now or keep waiting for the right time. All you need in your corner is confidence, belief and a little bit of luck.

If you really want something, nothing in this world can stop you from going after it. These excuses are not going to harm anyone else but you. So don’t give them the power to stand in your way to success.

What a brilliant post. The fact of the matter is it’s really easy to think of reasons why we can’t do things…..instead of putting ourselves out there and just trying.
After all, it doesn’t matter if we fail. As long as we try. That’s the way I like to live, anyway!
